In your mercy, forgive us Lord

LEADER: Heavenly Father, we come to you today as a worrisome people.
We become anxious about everything, and we let our concern for tomorrow consume us.
In your mercy,

CONGREGATION: Forgive us Lord.

L: We are often so consumed with our work and daily tasks that we neglect the family and friends you have entrusted to us. In your mercy,

C: Forgive us Lord.

L: We neglect not only our relationships with our loved ones, but also our relationship with You. In your mercy,

C: Forgive us Lord.

L: All of these things and the confessions of our heart, we give to you now.

Gracious God, we thank you for your unending mercies. We thank you for hearing our prayer and meeting us with grace, not because of any work that we've done but by the work of your Son, Jesus Christ on the cross, who through His death and resurrection brought grace to all.

We pray all this in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
