Cultivating Creative Spaces for Faith and Art
Author and spoken word poet Tanner Olson and singer/songwriter Blake Flattley, have created something truly unique: Evenings of Music & Poetry — intimate gatherings that go far beyond entertainment. These nights invite reflection, stir the soul with beauty, and foster a sense of belonging. Held in homes, churches, and community spaces, they bring together those who long to explore the rich and meaningful intersection of art, faith, and culture.
An Evening of Music and Poetry creates space for people to encounter beauty, truth, and hope through music, poetry, and storytelling. In a world that moves fast and speaks loud, these gatherings offer a sacred pause — a chance to breathe, listen, and be reminded that we are not alone.
At Communion Arts, that’s exactly where we love to live: at the crossroads of theology, artistry, and community. We believe the Church can be a more vibrant, hospitable, and inspiring space for artists — a place where creativity is not only welcomed but grounded in the living hope we have in Christ.
If that vision stirs something in you, we’d love to walk alongside you. Together, we can create meaningful environments where faith and creativity are nurtured and celebrated. You can explore some of our recent gatherings at communionarts.org/events.
Right now, we’re inviting people like you — those who care about the arts and the Church — to help us dream and shape what comes next. Would you take a moment to share your thoughts with us in this brief survey?
Thanks for being part of this growing community. We’re grateful for you — and we look forward to the conversation ahead.
